Best Buddies
This past week we went to my parents for Thanksgiving. While we were there, Addison had the opportunity to play with her cousin, Aspen. Aspen is about to turn 1 year old, and like Addison was, is pretty easy going. Well, Addison, on the other hand has gotten pretty naughty when it comes to sharing toys and playing fair. It was a constant battle trying to get Addison to stop fussing everytime Aspen came toward the toys. I tried severl attempts at putting her on time-out, but my Mom insisted that she didn't know any better. I agreed until Addison deliberately placed a toy in front of Aspen, and then as soon as Aspen went for the toy, Addison fussed and took it away!! Where do they learn these things? Definately not from us! Well, all in all they got along pretty well and had a great time playing.

Pig Tails
We are so excited that Addison's hair is growing at a faster pace, so Mom has gotten carried away with the pig tails. Well, you can see for yourselves.

Goodbye infant carseat
Before Addison was born, the American Board of Pediatrics rule for booster car seats was 20 pounds or 1 year old. Since then they changed the rules to 20 pounds AND 1 year old. For Addison's 1 year well baby check up she only weighed in at 17 1/2 pounds, so we were totally bumbed that she had to stay in the infant seat until she reached 20 pounds. Well, 2 weeks ago we went in for her 15 month well-baby check and we are happy to announce that she is finally 20 pounds, barely. She is so proud of her "big girl" seat, and the fact that she can see Mom and Dad when she rides in the car. No more rear facing carseats for this girl!

I mentioned in the last entry about Addison trying to take her halloween costume off. I finally figured out how to download the video clip, so enjoy.

Fearless
Addison is getting to the stage where playing with toys just doesn't entertain her anymore. She is constantly looking for something to get into. This morning while getting ready to go to church, she was happily going through the drawers in our bedroom. Then when she got bored of that, she went on the the bathroom where she proceeded to unroll the toilet paper. After I took that away, she found more toilet paper in the other bathroom. Since I was out of sight, she decided to unroll that toilet paper roll. Brad had used that toilet earlier this morning and forgot to put the lid down, shame on him. When I found Addison, she was piling the tiolet paper in the toilet. She had so much in there that the top of the pile wasn't in the water!! When she saw me she proceeded to grab the pile and start to pull it out, resulting in soggy toilet paper on the floor. What a curious stage she is in right now. I think of it as being naughty, but I am sure she is just exploring.

Our little Toddler
Not a day goes by that Addison doesn't amaze us. She is such a ham and is always getting into something, everytime we turn the corner. Her latest thing is terrorizing Winston, and she gets a kick out of it. The other day I found her sitting in Winston's toy basket, playing with his toys. Heaven forbid she play with her own toys, shesh!!
This morning, after I got out of the shower, I found her in our bedroom bent down with her head touching the ground and looking between her legs. Of course when I came back with the camera she wasn't doing it anymore, so I had her reinact it for the picture.
A few hours later, I found her in our bedroom again. This time she had a pair of my underware around her neck. I was proud that she attempted to dress herself, just with the wrong article of clothing in the wrong place, hehe. I took a picture, but I won't post it to save me the embarrassment.

Visit with Cousin
The next day we went outlet shopping, and Addison was such a trooper. We had a great time and found some great deals. This next picture is of Addison getting ready to go, as she goes through Mommy's makeup bag.

Pigtails and Pajama Bottoms
We finally are able to put Addison's hair in a pigtail, now that it has decided to grow a little. It looks as if she wasn't happy about the pigtail in this picture, but she is yawning.
Addison insisted, the other day, that I put her pajama bottoms on her head. She was running around the house thinking she was quiet silly, until I got the camara out to take a picture, and then she wanted to take them off ASAP, of course!!

Welcome all
With blogging on the rise, we thought that we should join the trend. With families scattered, and we don't get very many chances to see each other, it's a perfect way to keep everyone updated. Lets have fun with it, and we are excited to see pictures and hear how everyone is doing.
